About Ian

I am  a UX researcher & designer with a passion for delightful and elegant design. With my background as an acupuncturist for over 9+ years, I bring my years of experience of deep listening and service and  research to UX, where I distill useful and satisfying solutions.

 

In addition to my UI/UX studies with Springboard, I hold a 4 year Masters degree in Chinese Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture, and a Bachelors degree in Germanic Languages and Literatures (Dutch and German) from the University of California, Berkeley. 

When not working, I enjoy hiking, studying cultures and psychology, travel, cooking and language learning.
